By re-imagining how we design bikes, our engineering department shattered the status quo with the Ride Aligned™ design system, addressing how a rider’s centre of gravity impacts the bike’s performance and then built the Sight A1’s All-Mountain design and aluminum frame around that.
The Sight A1 offers 150mm of RockShox Super Deluxe Select + travel in both 29 and 27.5-inch wheel options to suit every rider’s preference, and is equipped with a RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork. The SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain and Code RSC disc brakes keep things going and slowing, while the TranzX dropper offers size-specific drop.
Trails are getting tougher. Expectations of All-Mountain are rising.
To create the new Sight, we drew on the inspiration we find in the mountains around us, and let it drive innovation that can only come from re-thinking the science behind the design.
Once we’d determined what we wanted to achieve – to build a new mountain bike that boosts every rider’s confidence with improved descending capability, adept, sure-footed climbing, and efficient pedaling – the engineers took over, and created an entirely new way to design a bike.
By digging deep into how a rider’s centre of gravity impacts the bike’s performance, they used anthropometric data, proprietary kinematic software and a new range of setup parameters to precisely match each individual rider to their bike. It is a whole new perspective on bike design we call, Ride Aligned™.
The results? The Sight delivers maximum front and rear wheel grip on climbs and descents, maintains momentum and cadence in technical situations, and allows the suspension to move freely without absorbing drivetrain energy. This creates an All-Mountain experience that feels dynamic under rider input and provides a confident, stable chassis when charging through rough terrain.
It’s a completely new take on All-Mountain that’ll blow away your expectations – and shatter the status quo.
It’s the Science of Send.
