Bicycle Demos
Looking to purchase a mountain bike, but not sure exactly what you want? We have full suspension e-bikes, and full suspension and hardtail bikes available to demo. Reservations are required. Book online (24 hours in advance of pick up), or for same day availability call or text 207-701-5100. Up to three demo fees can be applied toward the cost of a regularly priced in stock bike when you are ready to purchase. Demo bikes are also available for our weekly Wednesday group rides, available to pick up at the Camden Snow Bowl, advance reservation required.
E-Mountain Bike
$200 per day

Full Suspension
$150 per day
The Salsa Blackthorn 145 C Deore 12 is an all-mountain bike that thrives on big rides over rowdy and unpredictable terrain. Its stiff carbon frame gives you more power per pedal stroke, while our all-mountain geometry balances downhill composure with pedaling comfort for a bike that does a little of everything efficiently.
Blackthorn’s Split Pivot suspension adds to its efficiency with a design that pedals exceptionally well and maintains traction even while braking through your full range of travel. With 145mm rear travel and a 160mm fork, you can lean into those coming-in-hot moments without losing control.
Hardtail
$75 per day
The Salsa Timberjack SLX 29 starts with an aluminum frame built on progressive trail geometry that’s plenty sendy on descents without feeling awkward pedaling back up. The 130 mm RockShox 35 Silver TK fork handily manages trail chatter for a controlled ride. Our Alternator 2.0 dropouts are adjustable to allow for many different drivetrain options and ride characteristics. 29 x 2.6" wheels and tires offer a nice blend of grip and rolling efficiency. Shimano’s SLX 1 x 12 drivetrain hits the sweet spot of functionality and affordability.
Customers are responsible for the safe transportation and use of demo bikes. Damage incurred during transport or use will be assessed and charged at demo return. Sidecountry Sports reserves the right to cancel reservation if transportation method is unsuitable.
